Golden Island - This is also called "Thuruthu". The island is just a few minuted by canoe boat from the main land. The centre peice of attraction in the island is an old shiva temple. A ride on the canoe boat itself is amusing. On the way back to you can see coir making.
Anjuthengu Fort - An area between five coconut trees, Anju means five and Thengu means coconut tree. The land was given on lease to the English East India company by the prince of Travancore. The place is inherited by the local fisherman and the trading of the catches happen in the beach from early to mid morning
Janardhana temple – This temple has two thousand years old history. It is believed that the temple in its original place was eaten away by the sea.
Kappil – This is the place where you can see the beach and lake on both sides
